Abstract. Linguo-axiological analysis of textual material is increasingly in demand today, serving as a
methodological basis for the humanities. Satire, as a means of presenting the comic, and the satirical text, as
its genre embodiment, offer rich material for studying the value orientations of the individual, a significant
part of contemporary cognitive-discursive research in Russian studies. The focus of scholars on the axiological fragment of the linguistic worldview of native Russian speakers indicates the relevance of the problematic associated with the analysis of linguistic textual means of objectifying value meanings within the creative discourses of outstanding masters of the word. The article aims to systematize representations of
axially significant concepts that constitute the worldview of the satirist Mikhail Zhvanetsky, based on an
analysis of the author's representations of the realities of life, the essential characteristics of personality,
and laughter and humor as important manifestations of the specifics of national and individual consciousness. The list of value dominants in the author's worldview includes meanings that constitute the content of
the concepts EMPATHY, SENSITIVITY, TALENT, INDEPENDENCE, and FREEDOM. Concepts characteristic of
the writer's worldview such as DISTRUST, INDIFFERENCE, POWER, BOORISHNESS, RUDENESS, and
DEPENDENCE develop a negative connotation within the conceptual structure of M. Zhvanetsky's works,
allowing them to be classified as anti-values. The meaning of concepts conveying the value of some and the
anti-value of other meanings structuring Zhvanetsky's worldview is uniquely filled in his creative discourse,
conveying the uniqueness of the author's worldview and life position. The concepts of HUMOR and
LAUGHTER serve as a connecting link between the "value" and "anti-value" fragments in the satirist's
worldview. This is largely facilitated by the rich functional potential of their lexical means of representation. Correlated with the writer's representation of life, creativity, and talent, these units actualize the most
important individually authored conceptual meaning – "a person must be free," which is reflected in the
linguistic fabric of his satirical miniatures.
