Abstract. The anthropological vector of the modern development of the humanities actualizes research in the field of linguoculturology and cognitive linguistics. The study of lullabies as texts of a special discursive formation allows the author to consider the process of development of conceptual meanings within the framework of national and individual linguoconsciousness through the description of cognitive structures. This study examines the archetype ‘Child’ representation in folk and author lullabies. The analysis of folklore and literary material reveals the presence in the semantic space of the lullaby text of such archetypal characteristics as abandonment, hermaphroditism and irresistibility. The study shows that the semantic content of the described archetypal components changes together with the communicative tasks of the created text. Thus, the semantic component of the archetype of abandonment in folk lullabies harmonizes with the motive of the child's defenselessness, exposure to danger from the outside world. However, in the literary lullaby the archetypal meaning loses its relevance due to the absence of apotropaic semantics in the pragmatics of the literary text. The ontological «asexuality» (hermaphroditism, according to C. Jung) of the concept ‘Child’ is due to the appearance in the folk lullaby of pronounced gender-oriented attitudes that determine the future work activity of the addressee. The author lullaby does not convey stereotypes of gender behavior, thus maintaining unity with the archetypal model. As a result of the study, the author affirms that both national and individual-author's linguoconsciousness is able to transform the archetypal model of the concept ‘Child’ according to the pedagogical, value-oriented and apotropaic potential of the text. The invariant nature of the semantic components of the archetype is translated into such perception features of the child's role in the Slavic worldview as defenselessness and exposure to danger, unformed personality, and the hope for a happy future of the baby.
Keywords: archetype, archetypal component, the concept ‘Child’, folk lullaby, author lullaby.
