Abstract. National phraseological units and phraseological units of a literary language differ from locally limited phrasemes primarily by the specifics of their images, the nature of their evaluativeness, emotivity, and the cultural component of semantics. These components cannot be separated from each other: under no circumstances can a phraseological image be evaluatively and emotively neutral, since the appearance of an image as a mental category inevitably gives rise to a feeling-attitude to it, its assessment from the positions of both the collective unconscious and the subjective principle – the personal attitude of the creative subject. The interpretative analysis reveals the full semantics of phraseological units. The algorithm of the analysis is universal for most phraseological units, but the expressiveness of dialect phrasemes, based on their imagery, evaluativeness and emotivity, will be implemented differently in the dialect environment and among native speakers of the literary language. This is due to several reasons: on the one hand, native speakers of the literary language perceive the dialect phraseme as new, unusual, extremely expressive, created on the basis of an "unexpected" image, so it effectively affects the imagination. On the other hand, the brightness of the evaluation and imagery of the dialect phraseme may not be completely understandable to the bearer of urban culture (including language), since the dialect image may be closely related to the realities of rural life, unfamiliar to the urban resident and, in addition, may appeal to the facts of local history and (or) culture. All this requires a special organization of the interpretative analysis of dialect phraseology.
Keywords: phraseological unit, semantics, imagery, evaluativeness, emotivity, dialect, dialect phraseme, interpretative analysis.
